Location: Mick George Head Office - Huntingdon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday between 7am – 6pm on a shift pattern

About the Role
 The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Day to day involvement with all Sales Support Team and supporting the Sales Team with their orders, answering the phones to our customers and cross selling multiple services and products. Ensuring the customer has the ultimate experience where they can, with various administrative tasks from taking and booking on orders, managing enquiries, helping with invoice queries, tickets requests, portal use, reports, inboxes etc.

Main Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for first class customer experience to include:
  • Answering and making phone calls
  • Logging all enquiries, collating, and sending quotations when necessary
  • Checking purchase orders
  • Communicating regularly with customers, managing expectations, ETAS, and updating on delays
  • Portal support
  • Invoice Queries & Ticket Requests
  • Taking and booking on orders
  • Organising refunds for customers for Manager to sign off.
  • Setting up companies and individual site contacts on the portal.
  • Collating incoming sales enquiries via email, phone and through sales representatives
  • Diary/Inbox management
  • Reviewing accounts status and discussing with relevant departments
  • Liaising with internal department such as transport to ensure best service is received by the customer
  • Identify cross selling and up-selling opportunities and gather further information on enquiries.
  • Working with Sales representatives when needed to understand products, where we source materials from etc
  • General administration duties including report production, data analysis, completing supplier/ subcontractor questionnaires, scanning, producing proformas, organising tickets, printing, and filing.
  • Any adhoc duties required for Sales Representatives.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Computer literate & Microsoft Office Skills
  • Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary
  • Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
  • Previous experience within the construction/ aggregates/ waste industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Driven and pro-active individual.
