Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting Labourer's to join the team.

Location: Mepal - Witcham Meadlands, Block Fen, Cambridgeshire, CB6 2AY

Pay: £12.50 per hour plus a weekly £50 bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday plus Saturdays as and when required

Job Purpose
To assist with general day-day duties around the quarry at the request of the site manager. This will involve activities such as picking waste/metal from aggregates, cleaning and unblocking of machines.

Responsibilities

To assist with general housekeeping activities around the site (picking waste/metal, cleaning, etc)
To be able to identify non-conforming wastes (asbestos) on the picking line in order to treat the soils delivered to site.
To be able to operate site equipment safely (jet wash)
To carry out any other duties relating to the quarry as requested by a supervisor/manager
